  • Water should be avaliable at all times and should be clean and fresh
  • You should feed your new puppy about 3 times per day. You will receive food from their current diet. Their are many good foods and raw diets.
  • Brush your puppy at least 3 times per week
  • Clean your puppies ears at least once per month
  • Vaccinations - Your puppy will come with initial vaccines and wormings. You must take your puppy for 2 more vaccine visits at your Veterinarian for the series to be complete and Your puppy fully protected.
  • Your vet will suggest heartworm and Flea prevention. I personally use Frontline and Heartguard
  • Play with your puppy for socialization and exercise. Do not take your puppy on runs before 12 months of age their bones and joints are developing. This could cause your puppy permenant   damage. Instead play ball for short bursts of running and walking.
  • Try not to let anyone scare your puppy Trust is important. Children should be gentle.
  • Training is important. Positive training during the 8 week to 16 week time frame is a must so your Puppy will know what you expect in your home. Be careful not to train your puppy to do someting you do not want during this time. ( read up on training before you take your puppy home)
  • 8 to 12 Weeks Old .....Socialize, Socialize, Socialize!!!!
  • Praise your puppy
